Lynx's fairy godmother Sugarplum comes to Frost Flights to deliver an important message from Sgt. Winter. Lynx and the rest of the heroes are in trouble! The Ice King has returned, now as The Golden King, and is more powerful than ever before! Sugarplum tells Lynx to seek out an ancient book and unlock her full power! But what does it mean?

After watching cat videos all night, Lynx talks to a Slushy Soldier guarding his post. Slushy Soldier reveals the secret of the Library of Knowledge! Located inside The Golden King's Polar Peak, the library of knowledge has all sorts of hidden spells and books.

That night Lynx sneaks inside the castle trying to find a spell to unlock her inner power. Suddenly Snowfoot and Krampus show up. Lynx must hide! After they leave, Sugarplum leads Lynx to the spell she is searching for...

Back at Frost Flights, Lynx enlists the help of Zenith and Castor to perform an ancient ritual. In order to become her most powerful self, Lynx must die and be resurrected. Zenith is nervous, but reluctantly kills Lynx. Luckily the spell works! Lynx is reborn as Golden Lynx! Now her full power is unleashed!

The Golden King senses this new found power, and reprimands Snowfoot for allowing Lynx to steal the spell.
